TERRA BASE is a new product developed for keeping small orchids, ferns, moss growing in a state close to the condition of natural habitat. This lovingly crafted clay product opens up the possibility of bringing a striking piece of rainforest into your living room and keeping small orchids, ferns and mosses that otherwise grow on rainforest tree trunks in a state that comes close to their natural habitat.
The Terra Base is planted with mosses and epiphytes (by binding or glueing) and placed (e.g. in the Neo Glass AIR tank). The plants are supplied by filling the Terra Base M with water, which seeps through the pores of the pottery and also provides a cooling effect during the warm summer days through evaporation. The plants can also be sprayed with DOOA Wabi-Kusa Mist.
A special cotton thread to fix Willow Moss on driftwood or rocks. It will naturally biodegrade after Willow Moss has taken root to the driftwood or rocks. In a quiet dark green color similar to that of Willow Moss.
Terra Line is a special thread product for securing plants such as epiphytic orchids to driftwood enabling it to secure without melting and breaking in the water. Because it is synthetic fiber, it will not be melt or broken even if it’s used in watery areas. So it is possible to firmly secure plants with less rooting ability and plants that need a lot of time to take roots.
Terra Plate is a ceramic plate made of the same material as Terra Base for epiphytes. Because its surface has a rough texture, it is easy for epiphytes to attach. And because of the high absorbency, it is excellent at controlling humidity. So it is ideal for growing small epiphytic orchids and Tillandsia. There is a ditch on the back to ensure breathability when placed flat.
Bottom Plus refines the leaf color of aquatic plants with vigorous nutrient absorption from the roots, since it is particularly fortified with the nitrogen and iron contents that tend to be deficient in the substrate kept for a long-term. Also, as it is produced from the same natural soil as the raw material of Aqua Soil, the stick never remains in the substrate.
Bacter 100 is a substrate additive, containing more than 100 kinds of substrate bacteria in a dormant state. By sprinkling on the base substrate, it can make an ideal substrate environment. By applying on top of blue green algae, it suppresses the growth of it.
Terra Tape is a self-adherent water retentive tape product for keeping from drying out by winding it around driftwood and creating an appropriate environment for growing epiphytes such as moss. Please wind it around driftwood while leaving its end in the water and put some moss on top of the tape in the area above water for aqua terrarium and paludarium.
Multi Bottom is a stick of nutrients with balanced formula of trace elements, which are vital for aquatic plant growth. To keep an aquascape for a long time, insert Multi Bottom in the substrate as a nutrient supplement.
Wire designed to temporarily fix ferns such as Microsorum or Bolbitis on driftwood or rocks, until the plant roots takes hold by themselves. In a brown color that matches that of driftwood. Remove carefully after the plant takes firm root on driftwood or rocks.
Bacter Ball is a sphere shape substrate additive made from Bacter 100. You can place it on the substrate and inside the biological filtration system. It helps keeping healthy condition of fish and shrimp nibbling on Bacter Ball.
Connecting Silicon Tubes are sometimes caught between the aquarium and lighting equipment, causing blockage of CO2 and air flow. In order to avoid this problem, Joint Glass is developed to insure proper supply of CO2. Be sure to choose the correct size which corresponds to the aquarium edge.
