Bacter 100 is a substrate additive, containing more than 100 kinds of substrate bacteria in a dormant state. By sprinkling on the base substrate, it can make an ideal substrate environment. By applying on top of blue green algae, it suppresses the growth of it.
Bacter Ball is a sphere shape substrate additive made from Bacter 100. You can place it on the substrate and inside the biological filtration system. It helps keeping healthy condition of fish and shrimp nibbling on Bacter Ball.
Bottom Plus refines the leaf color of aquatic plants with vigorous nutrient absorption from the roots, since it is particularly fortified with the nitrogen and iron contents that tend to be deficient in the substrate kept for a long-term. Also, as it is produced from the same natural soil as the raw material of Aqua Soil, the stick never remains in the substrate.
GREEN BRIGHTY IRON is a liquid fertilizer for supplying iron to a planted aquarium. BRIGHTY K is a liquid fertilizer for supplying potassium to a planted aquarium. When potassium is insufficient, the photosynthesis activity and growth of aquatic plants are affected, and this can cause yellowing and bleaching of leaves as well as lower resistance to algae. Daily application of BRIGHTY K to the aquarium eliminates these problems caused by potassium deficiency and promotes growth of aquatic plants. BRIGHTY K also has an effect of enhancing the buffering capacity of water and prevents a decline in the pH of aquarium water.
*BRIGHTY K is strongly alkaline. The pH of aquarium water may rise temporarily immediately after this product is applied, but it will eventually return to its original level.
GREEN BRIGHTY MINERAL is a liquid fertilizer for supplying trace elements to a planted aquarium. Insufficient trace elements affect the formation of new buds and pigment synthesis of aquatic plants, and can cause poor leaf color and poor plant growth. Daily application of GREEN BRIGHTY MINERAL to the aquarium may eliminate these problems and promotes growth of aquatic plants.

Iron Bottom is a stick of nutrients with balanced formula of trace elements and coated iron. It is recommended for the growth of Echinodorus and Cryptocoryne, which mainly absorb nutrients from the roots.
Multi Bottom is a stick of nutrients with balanced formula of trace elements, which are vital for aquatic plant growth. To keep an aquascape for a long time, insert Multi Bottom in the substrate as a nutrient supplement.
In alkaline water with high level pH or Carbonate Hardness (KH), the growth of aquatic plants gets inhibited. SOFT WATER adjusts the water quality to mild acidity.
Dose 1 ml per 10 litres aquarium water a week after the water change.
API® MELAFIX fish remedy is an all-natural antibacterial treatment that works to treat infections in fish. Common bacterial infections are open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus. MELAFIX fish remedy also promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. Product may be used when adding fish to an aquarium – particularly to smooth the transition from store to home – and if an infection is suspected, but not yet diagnosed. Some fish bought in pet stores are already carrying diseases at the time of purchase, which may be difficult to detect in its early stages. API MELAFIX fish remedy will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor water.
Instruction
Add 5 ml. for each 10 gallons of aquarium water. For disease or wound treatment, dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Continue treatment, if necessary. For adding new fish, dose daily for 3 days.

The Standard Dose of Rid-Fungus is 10 drops (from a medicinal eye dropper) per gallon or 1 teaspoon (approx. 5mL) of Rid-Fungus for every 10 gallons (approx. 45.5 liters) of water. In regular treatment repeat dose daily until 3-4 days after the last infection is observed, including in the mouth, gills, and nostrils. Cold water conditions may require a longer treatment time.
Water changes between treatments are not required for this treatment to be effective, and are not recommended to be done. After all of the treatments are completed, make a 20% or more water change. If tap water is used, it is recommended to use Kordon NovAqua Plus together with AmQuel Plus to detoxify the water being added.
Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 was developed according to the results of a scientific analysis of water originating from the lakes of the Malili lake system on Sulawesi. It serves for mineralising RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. and requires some additional measures for fully dissolving. Water remineralised with this mineral salt will result in an almost exact copy of the water of Lake Towuti and a correspondingly high pH of 8.5, which also serves for greatly reducing pathogens.
Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 contains all important minerals and trace elements the well-known shrimp species from this region need for their health, wellbeing and colouration. This mineral salt furthers the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. It also reduces the danger of harmful germs as it enhances the formation of antagonistic microflora. Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 raises the carbonate and total hardness at a ratio of KH/°dH = 0.78/1.0.
Instructions of use Add Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 to water outside of your aquarium. It will almost totally dissolve if CO2 is added for a few days. On regular CO2-Quantity (one bubble per second) the salt dissolved totally into approx. 3-4 days. If you use CO2 to dissolve the mineral salt, please make sure you aerate the water afterwards for at least three hours with an air stone in order to expel the CO2! Afterwards, the water is ready for use. We recommend adapting the temperature of the new water to that in your tank. Please make sure to add any undissolved particles to your tank, too. Close the container after use.
Dosage RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. is remineralised with Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 until a hardness of around 7 °dH and/or a conductance of around 220 +/- 40 µS (Mikrosiemens) is reached. This corresponds to a slightly heaped measuring spoon (around 3 g) to 20 litres of water. Measuring spoon included.
TANK STABILIZATION: Seachem Stability will rapidly and safely establish the aquarium biofilter in freshwater and marine systems, thereby preventing the #1 cause of fish death: "new tank syndrome".
TREATMENT: Stability is formulated specifically for the aquarium and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.
BACTERIA GROWTH: The necessary conditions for the growth of Stability's bacteria strains encompass a very broad range. When other bacteria begin to die off (usually from high organic loads caused by the unknown death of an organism), Stability simply becomes more effective.
SAFE: The bacteria employed by Stability are non-sulfur fixing and will not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide. Stability is completely harmless to all aquatic organisms as well as aquatic plants, thus there is no danger of overuse.
Directions:
Shake well before use. Turn off UV/ozone. Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 40 L (10 US gallons) on the first day with a new aquarium. Then use 1 capful for each 80 L (20 US gallons) daily for 7 days. Fish and other aquatic species may be introduced at any time as long as the dosage is maintained for 7 days. For optimum biofilter performance use 1 capful for each 80 L (20 US gallons) once a month or with each water change and whenever introducing new fish or whenever medicating an aquarium. The product shelf life is 4 years from the date of manufacture.
Stability® should ideally be used in conjunction with biological filtration such as Seachem Matrix. For emergency ammonia control, use Seachem AmGuard.
Seachem’s Brackish Salt™ is a chemically sound blend of salts designed to replicate the native environment of live bearers and other brackish estuary fish without adversely impacting aquatic plants when used at regionally specific recommended dosage. The salt is also well suited for routine aquarium freshwater use. It does not impact pH or provide buffering.
Unlike other aquarium salts currently available to the hobbyist, Brackish Salt™ is more than just a simple sodium chloride product. These other salts can burn leaves and roots in a planted aquarium. However, Brackish Salt™ does not cause this type of damage, and actually provides many nutrients crucial to healthy plant growth. Dosing of Brackish Salt™ allows for specific duplication of different brackish water environments found worldwide (such as the waters of Sumatra or the waters of Borneo). Brackish Salt™ can also be dosed for general brackish water community aquariums and general freshwater community aquarium. Brackish Salt™ is a safe and effective alternative to the sodium chloride based aquarium salts so prevalent
Directions:
Use when setting up an aquarium and when making water changes. To add salt to an established tank, do so gradually. It is best to dissolve the salt in freshwater before use. Avoid using salt when simply replacing evaporated water.
For live bearers (such as guppies, swordtails, platies, some mollies), use 20 g (~1 tablespoon) for each 40 L (10 US gallons).
For estuary fish from the Yucatan or Sri Lanka (Archers, Chromides, some mollies), use 15 g (~2 teaspoons) for each 12 L (3 US gallons).
For estuary fish from Thailand, Cambodia, Borneo, or Sumatra (Datnioides), use 40 g (~2 tablespoons) per 12 L (3 US gallons).
For scats, use up to 80 g (~4 tablespoons) per 12 L (3 US gallons). This dose is not for planted aquaria.
For mixed populations, use an average dose, representative of species present. For specific information on your fish, check with your dealer or other reference source.
For general aquarium salt use (either for mineral replacement or disease control), use 20 g (~1 tablespoon) for each 40 L (10 US gallons).
Clarity™ is the ultimate clarifier for both fresh and saltwater. It employs an advanced polymeric flocculating agent that is both reef and plant safe. Clarity™ is the only clarifier on the market that does it all! Clarity™ will clear all types of clouding.
Many companies manufacture multiple products to clear up each type of cloudiness and each different environment (e.g. freshwater, marine, reef, etc.). Some companies have developed products that will clear most types of cloudiness, but their application requires two separate bottles of product. Clarity™ contains compounds that will clear all types of cloudiness in all environments.
Upon adding Clarity™ to the water, you will see a cloudy haze begin to form. This is normal and means that Clarity™ is beginning to work. The water is filled with tiny pieces of floating matter that were not visible to the naked eye. Clarity™ makes those pieces of matter begin to clump together. As they clump together they form larger pieces of matter that are now visible, hence the cloudiness. Once this matter has clumped together, it is a simple matter of mechanical filtration to remove the residue. Matter that was once too small to get caught in filter media is now in large enough clumps.
In order for Clarity™ to work effectively, you should have a filter with mechanical filtration (e.g., filter floss) connected to your aquarium.
Directions:
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 80 L (20 US gallons). In some situations the cloudiness may increase after adding Clarity™, however this is normal and is a sign that Clarity™ is actively working. Rapid clarification will follow (1–2 hours). In the case of chemical or particulate clouding clean filter floss or cartridge after tank clears.
Iron is immobile in plants. This means that plants cannot divert iron from older leaves to new ones. Therefore, deficiency symptoms appear first on new or young leaves. Because plants use iron to produce chlorophyll, a lack of iron results in chlorosis, or yellowing, of the younger leaves. Stems may also appear short and slender. If the deficiency is severe and prolonged, each new leaf emerges lighter in color than the preceding leaf.
Directions:
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 200 L (50 US gallons) or as required to maintain about 0.10 mg/L iron. For smaller doses please note that each cap thread is about 1 mL. Use as needed to combat signs of iron deficiency (usually seen in new growth) which include: chlorosis (yellowing) of tissue between veins and short and slender stems.
Flourish Trace™ supplies a broad range of trace elements demonstrated to be necessary for proper plant health and growth (see below for signs of deficiencies). Trace elements are normally depleted by utilization, oxidation and precipitation. The latter two processes occur more rapidly than with other micronutrients. This makes it important to restore trace elements on a regular basis. Flourish Trace™ is safe for invertebrates such as shrimp.
Signs of Trace Element Deficiencies:
Boron: Death of stem and root apical meristem, leaves twisted, young tissue most affected
Cobalt: used for nitrogen fixation, same as nitrogen deficiency signs (stunted growth)
Copper: Young leaves dark green, twisted, wilted, tip remains alive
Manganese: Chlorosis of young leaves, with smallest veins remaining green, necrosis between veins
Molybdenum: Chlorosis, twisting, death of young leaves
Matrix™ is a high porosity biomedia that provides efficient biofiltration for the removal of nitrogenous waste. Matrix™ is a porous inorganic solid about 10 mm in diameter. Each liter of Matrix™ provides as much surface (>~700 m2) as 170 liters of plastic balls! Plastic bio-materials provide only external surface area, whereas Matrix™ provides both external and internal macroporous surface area. These macropores are ideally sized for the support of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. This allows Matrix™, unlike other forms of biomedia, to remove nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite, simultaneously and in the same filter.
Matrix™ is completely inert and will not breakdown. It need not be replaced. Since the majority of the bacteria are internal, Matrix™ may be rinsed when needed without damaging the filter. Matrix™ is compatible with all types of wet or wet-dry filters.
Directions:
Use 250 mL of Matrix™ for each 200 L (50 US gallons)** of water. Matrix™ may be placed in any kind of filter, and is particularly effective in a canister filter. Matrix™ is sufficiently large that no filter bag should be required for most applications. Matrix™ works well in drip tray systems, but you may find that the larger Pond Matrix™ is better suited for such applications. Use with Stability® to more rapidly establish the bio-filter.
Iron is of no importance in fish only aquaria; however, iron over 0.5 mg/L may be toxic to some species and should be avoided. Under normal conditions, iron is virtually impossible to maintain at measurable concentrations in seawater. Natural seawater concentration for iron is about 0.01 mg/L. Iron is important in planted aquaria and should be maintained between 0.1 to 0.2 mg/L.
MultiTest™ Iron measures both ionic and most chelated iron in freshwater or marine water to less than 0.05 mg/L. It performs over 75 tests and contains a reference sample for validation.
Measures iron to less than 0.05 mg/L
Multi-cavity plate for simultaneous testing of up to 6 tests at the same time
Purigen® is a premium synthetic adsorbent that is unlike any other filtration product. It is not a mixture of ion exchangers or adsorbents, but a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer that removes soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a rate and capacity that exceeds all other competing products by over 500%. Purigen® controls ammonia, nitrites and nitrates by removing nitrogenous organic waste that would otherwise release these harmful compounds. Purigen’s impact on trace elements is minimal. It significantly raises redox. It polishes water to unparalleled clarity. Purigen® darkens progressively as it exhausts, and is easily renewed by treating with bleach. Purigen® is designed for both marine and freshwater use.
Directions:
Rinse before use. It may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Each 250 mL treats up to 1,000 L (250 US gallons) for up to six months. Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the beads to dark brown or black.
